Festival de Ibiapaba

Hello Jorge, Interesting stuff. I’m not familiar with carnaval tradition, so I wonder if you could share a little information. For example, what was festival Na Ibiapaba written for? Is this a large street march celebration?
Also with your Carnaval sheet music, it appears both saxes and both brass all play the same melody line? Is this typical of carnaval music that all instruments play the same melody?
